        The Donald G. Ivey Library contains over 25,000 volumes in circulating and reference collections in the social sciences and other fields. Special collections focus on New College's programs in African Studies, Caribbean Studies, Disability Studies, Equity Studies, and Women and Gender Studies. Women and Gender Studies is also supported by an important inter-disciplinary collection of women and gender studies journals.  

        We have bright, open, comfortable study areas located on both the mezzanine and lower levels, including:

        • study carrels
        • bookable group study rooms
        • height adjustable tables on the lower level

        We offer services to U of T students, faculty and staff including research consultations, workshops, group study spaces, computer workstations, and more.
