Rushing Hall is Troy University’s newest state-of-the-art residence hall with key fob entry, featuring 280 single-bed suites, 68 double occupancy suites and 12 handicapped suites on four floors.

There is a storm shelter available on the first floor of both wings of Rushing Hall, and there is a co-ed study wing over the arch on the fourth floor.

Rushing Hall is the only dorm with full size beds and TVs with cable standard to each room. Included for residents are a full size bed and mattress, desk, chair, and dresser.

This is the former site of Alumni Hall (1966), which was a male residence hall that was demolished in May/June 2014 to make room for Rushing Hall, opened in August 2015. Alumni Hall had two wings named to honor Dr. James O. Colley, Jr., and Frank S. Anderson.
