    1. Portland VA Medical Center

      The Portland VA Medical Center (PVAMC) is a 277-bed facility serving more than 80,000 unique and 800,000 out-patient Veterans each year in Oregon and Southwest Washington. PVAMC consists of the main tertiary care medical center located in Portland, the Vancouver Campus in Vancouver, Wash., as well as nine outpatient clinics across Central and Northwest Oregon that support our Veterans.

       

      PVAMC  provides a full continuum of inpatient, outpatient, long-term, and emergent care. PVAMC is proud to host 12 national-level Centers of Excellence leading research efforts from mental illness to Parkinson’s, Epilepsy, auditory research, and others.  

       

      PVAMC is also connected to Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU)  both physically and through partnerships where we  collaborate in shared research endeavors, the training of healthcare professionals, and the use of shared staff including scientists, clinician-educators, and clinician-researchers.
