Duratz Athletic complex in the UPMC Sports Performance Complex recognizes James Duratz and his late wife, Helen Barco Duratz, who together with other members of the Barco family, have provided extraordinarily generous support for Pitt’s Department of Athletics. The state-of-the-art training facility features two outdoor and one indoor practice field; expansive training rooms; team meeting and film viewing rooms; weight room, locker room, and dining facilities; and coaching and administrative offices and the Hearst Academic Center for Football.
