Lanes and sidewalks along Fifth Avenue between Bellefield Avenue and Darragh Street will be closed intermittently for the forseeable future as part of Pittsburgh Regional Transit's Bus Rapid Transit project.
No parking is available along this portion of the road at this time. Not all crosswalks and bus stops will be available, so stay aware of posted detours and bus schedules.
At this time, the rightmost lane is closed between Bellefield Avenue and South Bouquet Street. South Bouquet Street, the leftmost lane (excluding the bus lane) is closed.
There is a designated path for pedestrians between Oakland Avenue and Atwood Street due to work on one of the buildings on the block.
Conditions are expected to change weekly. The latest information can be found at PRT's website.
