         Welcome to UT! Police and staff will manage Move-In Day traffic flow as efficiently as possible. We ask that you approach your residence hall according to the directions below. 
         
         DIRECTIONS TO FRED BROWN HALL
         
         From the East

         • Follow I-40 West, go past Rutledge Pike exit, and the Cherry Street exit
         • Take Exit 387 (17^th-21^st Street)
         • Take a right on 17^th Street
         • Follow 17^th Street until the fifth stop light at Cumberland Avenue
         • Cross over Cumberland Avenue onto Melrose Place
         • Follow Melrose Place, Brown Hall will be located on the right over the top of the hill

          

         From the North

         • I-75 comes in North of the city and merges with I-40/I-75 (do not get on I-640)

         • Exit onto I-40/I-75
         • Take the first exit, Exit 387 (17^th-21^st Street)
         • Take a right on 17^th Street
         • Follow 17^th Street until the fifth stop light at Cumberland Avenue
         • Cross over Cumberland Avenue onto Melrose Place
         • Follow Melrose Place, Hess Hall will be located on the right over the top of the hill

          

         From the South and West

         • Follow I-40/I-75 East
         • Take Exit 387 (17^th-21^st Street)
         • Take a right on 17^th Street
         • Follow 17^th Street until the fourth stop light at Cumberland Avenue
         • Cross over Cumberland Avenue onto Melrose Place
         • Follow Melrose Place, Brown Hall will be located on the right over the top of the hill
