Built in 1891, Distler House was originally F&M’s first gymnasium. It even included a bowling alley. Today, it’s our campus bookstore, operated by Barnes & Noble. In addition to textbooks and supplies, the bookstore sells F&M clothing and gear, books, magazines and snacks. On the ground floor of Distler you'll find the Diplomatic Café, a fan favorite on campus for hot and cold beverages, fresh sandwiches, and other fast-casual eats. The Diplomatic Cafe is a proud server of Square One Roasters, a local coffee supplier committed to responsibly farmed, sustainably sourced coffee.
