Friday Hall is named in honor of UNC President Emeritus William C. Friday and his wife, Ida, in recognition of their 30 years of dedication and service to the University of North Carolina. During President Friday’s tenure, he was a steady supporter of UNCW and championed UNCW’s role in marine science.
