Gerhart House was constructed in 1871 as a home for Franklin & Marshall College President Emanuel Vogel Gerhart. It was later used as a Dean's residence in 1930 and as the Admission house in 1975. Today, Gerhart House is home to F&M’s Anthropology and Sociology departments.
