        Description: Home to UVM’s Department of History, this building was constructed in 1842 by University of Vermont president Rev. John B. Wheeler. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Wheeler House was built by the nationally known architect Ammi Burnham Young, who also constructed the Vermont State House in Montpelier.
