Samuelson Pavilion serves as a central gathering place for Occidental students, faculty, and staff. The one-time women's gymnaisum houses a full-service grill, lounge, assembly space for student meetings and dances, and outdoor seating.
Designed by Myron Hunt, the building was originally a women's gymnasium. In 1997, The Samuelson Pavilion was enlarged to accommodate the
Tiger Cooler, a full-service grill serving sandwiches, hamburgers, wood-fired pizza, bagels, coffee, and hand-dipped ice cream.
