The Helen M. Aderhold Learning Center is a hub of academic support and student success at Georgia State. Named after Helen Aderhold, a longtime advocate for student learning and engagement, this building was designed to give students a central place for tutoring, study sessions, and collaborative projects. Inside, you’ll find state-of-the-art classrooms, computer labs, and spaces where students can get personalized help across a variety of subjects. Its importance to the campus lies in how it embodies Georgia State’s commitment to student achievement — not just providing classes, but creating an environment where students have the resources and support to thrive academically.
This facility houses many general-purpose classrooms and lecture halls with some office space. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with the latest in audio-visual and data technology. Shops and eateries are located outside.
Building Accessibility:
There are two accessible entrances to Adderhold: one on Poplar Street and one on Luckie Street. They both provide step-free access to the building.
