For its athletes and fans, the Intercollegiate Athletics program at MSU Denver is an integral part of campus life. The MSU Denver Roadrunners compete at the Division II level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The university offers 16 intercollegiate sports. MSU Denver is a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC). Each of the Roadrunner teams competes within the 14-member conference that includes schools in Colorado, New Mexico and Nebraska. Since joining the RMAC in 1996, MSU Denver has won 35 RMAC Tournament championships and 33 regular season championships.
