      1. Clifford T. Seymour Hall

         Clifford T. Seymour chaired Southern Universities Department of Leisure and Recreation Services from 1958-1986, and had the longest tenure of a department head in the history of the university. He retired in 1986 with thirty-four years of service at Southern University. Seymour’s Gym houses the Department of Physical Education.
