Pocket Park is located off McAlister Dr., between the LBC and the Devlin Fieldhouse. This cozy patio space is lit by twinkle lights in the evening, and shaded by big umbrellas during the day. Students often enjoy their to-go meals from the LBC, meet with friends, or just take a break between classes in this outdoor space.
Pocket Park is home to a number of campus club and group activities as well. For example, every year it hosts the School of Architecture Sukkah, which is a small design-build project done completely by students in honor of the eight-day Jewish harvest festival of Sukkot. The Sukkah must be large enough for dining and be constructed in accordance with Halakha, Jewish Law.
