The establishment of the Tulane University National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) plots marks a significant milestone, paying tribute to the perseverance and dedication of those who laid the foundation for the Divine Nine's presence on Tulane's campus over 50 years ago. Led by Raven Ancar, a Tulane student and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority member, the project reflects a journey of determination and resilience that began in 2019. The NPHC plots, originating at Howard University in the 1930s, symbolize unity and empowerment, providing a public space for reflection, celebration, and community gathering.

The plots underscore a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and excellence, embodying the shared values of the Tulane community. These plots are a call to carry forward the spirit of unity, resilience, and hope. It's an opportunity to honor the past, celebrate the present, and embrace the future with optimism, aiming to build a brighter and more inclusive tomorrow for generations to come.
