Completed in 1990, the Wilson Center for Intercollegiate Athletics is hailed as one of the finest athletic buildings in the country.
This 76,000-square-foot facility, costing $7.2 million, houses athletic offices for 12 of Tulane's 17 varsity sports, the Green Wave's weight room, training room, the Mickey Retif Clubhouse, the Tulane Athletic Hall of Fame Room, and a collection of memorabilia in the atrium. It also includes the Academic Student Services Office and a computer lab.
Named after former Tulane football player Jim Wilson Jr., whose generous gift significantly propelled the fundraising efforts, the Wilson Center stands as a testament to his legacy.
