        1. Alumni House

The Alumni House was built in 1941 and designed by Charles Roberts and Douglass V. Freret architects. Named the Bea Field Alumni House in honor of the extraordinarily dedicated former director of alumni activities, this colonial, red brick house has two floors and an attic and houses the Office of Alumni Affairs.

The Alumni Association gave money toward the purchase of this former residence in 1951. Two paintings by Will Stevens, a former member of the Newcomb faculty, and one rare Audubon print of a pelican from the Elephant Folio hang inside.
