        1. Richardson Building

Built in 1894 by Harrod and Andry, and then enlarged in 1908 by Andry and Bendernagel, the building first housed the chemistry department. It is sited on angle in response to its twin, for former physics building (Hebert). The windows and decoration mimic the shape of Gibson's costly stone arches in a less expensive brick and limestone. Today the structure is home to the Center for Academic Equity, The Carolyn Barber Pierre Center for Intercultural Life, and the School of Professional Advancement.

For first-gen resources, visit the Center for Academic Equity located on the first floor.
