        Main Street Residence For the 2026-27 academic year, this building, the former Lovett College, will serve as an alternative to off-campus housing for undergraduates from various residential colleges at Rice It was in this building that one of the college’s resident associates (and an avid home-brewer) taught Rice undergraduate Brock Wagner ’87 to brew beer. Wagner and another Rice graduate, Kevin Bartol '81, went on to co-found the Saint Arnold Brewing Company, today the oldest craft brewery in Texas.
