Seeley G. Mudd Computer Science Laboratory
Mudd Lab was built to be the university’s center for computation. It now houses the Rice Office of Technology Solutions and Services, and still offers some workstations and printer access for Rice students and employees through the Mudd Operations Center.

Named for: Seeley Greenleaf Mudd, a cardiologist, professor and philanthropist
Built: 1983, Charles Tapley Associates and Hugh E. Gragg
Building Hours: M-F, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and on weekends according to registrar's reservation schedule. (Hours for the Mudd Operations Center vary during the academic year.)
