        1. Atlanta - Urban Life Building

          The Urban Life Building is located in the heart of Georgia State University’s downtown campus. It sits adjacent to the GSU Sports Arena and primarily serves as an academic and administrative hub. The building contains numerous classrooms which are often used by first‑ and second‑year undergraduate students, along with meeting and event spaces. 

          The Urban Life Building houses many units from the School of Public Health, including the Dean’s Office, the Department of Health Policy & Behavioral Sciences, the Department of Population Health Sciences, and multiple student‑support units such as the Office of Academic Assistance and Applied Practice Experiences & Career Services. It also contains several research and community‑impact centers, including the Center for Leadership in Disability, the Alcohol and Sexual Assault Prevention Lab, the Mark Chaffin Centers for Healthy Development, the Psychology Clinic, and programs such as IDEAL (Inclusive Digital Expression and Literacy).

          Building Accessibility:

          There are multiple entrances that provide step-free access to the Urban Life Building:

          • An accessible ramp leads to a step-free entrance from Decatur Street.
          • There is an accessible entrance from the B Lot.
          • There are two accessible entrances from the Urban Life Plaza.
          • There is an accessible entrance from the bridge on floor two to the Student Center East.

          There are seven elevators located in the center of the building.
